Indawo was appointed to undertake a full asbestos roof replacement for a residential property in Claremont, Cape Town.

The existing asbestos roof had deteriorated over time, posing a significant health and safety risk to occupants and the surrounding environment. In compliance with the Asbestos Abatement Regulations (2020), Indawo - registered as a Type 3 Asbestos Contractor with the Department of Employment and Labour - managed the safe removal and disposal of all asbestos materials on site.

Health & safety compliance was overseen by Ingozi Management, Indawo’s appointed Health & Safety consultants.
