Indawo History

Established in 1967, Indawo has grown from a reputable painting and waterproofing contractor in Cape Town into a nationally recognised industry leader. Our long-standing reputation is built on a foundation of quality craftsmanship, service excellence, and a strong work ethic. Today, we proudly specialise in a comprehensive range of services, including roofing, asbestos removal, structural repairs, heritage restoration, painting, and waterproofing.

Building Capability and Credibility
Initially operating as a subcontractor to Indawo Cape (Pty) Ltd, Indawo Construction was guided through a strategic development process. This included gaining hands-on experience on live projects, building a track record, establishing supplier relationships, and qualifying for an appropriate CIDB grading. Throughout this journey, Indawo Cape provided mentorship, training, and support to ensure long-term sustainability and credibility.
