Indawo was commissioned to undertake the asbestos roof removal and full roof replacement at the historic Kweekskool building in Stellenbosch. With the safety of students and staff a top priority, all work was carried out under strict health and safety protocols to ensure minimal disruption and full regulatory compliance.
The original asbestos roof was safely removed and replaced with imported Spanish slate tiles, chosen for their durability, aesthetic compatibility with the heritage site, and long-term performance.
